The One Where I'm Terrified of The Grinch

It's officially December!! Which means it's time for me to decorate like Christmas exploded all over the house, and come at you little duckies with Christmas content! So we're starting off the greatest time of the year with a post about what I'm terrified of. Jolly, right?

Let me start this off by saying, I absolutely LOVE the original cartoon Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Every Christmas Eve for as long as I can remember, my parents, brother and I would sit down after putting on our new Christmas pajamas and hanging our new ornaments on the tree and we would watch The Grinch. It's not Christmas until you've sung "Trim up the tree with Christmas stuff, like bingle balls, and whofoo fluff."

Who the heck wrote this stuff? It's too hilarious not to sing along with it. And Max?? The cutest cartoon doggo there ever was! This is my favorite tradition.

BUT. I absolutely refuse to watch the Jim Carrey version. I'm petrified of the life-size giant, not-so-jolly green giant. Take this all with a grain of salt because I'm also the girl who's terrified of E.T. Some people find him cute, but I'm here to tell you those people are nuts.

To drive home my point about why the cartoon version is better, here are some side by side comparisons before I leave you for the day.

VS

If Jim Carrey Grinch isn't the stuff that haunts your nightmares...I don't even know, but I'm scared just looking at that picture. Cartoon Grinch is a cute little chickie nugget at the end of the movie with that smile.

Okay this isn't a side by side, but WHAT IN THE HELL IS BABY GRINCH BESIDES TERRIFYING?? Why on Earth is this in the movie??

I can't. But I have to leave this on a positive note, and Max is flipping adorable in both. So her you go. Puppppppp!
